The Cabarrus College of Health Sciences offers many digital resources to you. These resources include Health Databases (PubMed), Nursing Databases (CINHAL Complete through NC AHEC), and eBooks (through NC AHEC). However, using electronic resources can be overwhelming. How do you even log in to the database, much less find what you need? The purpose of this guide is to help you navigate the process to help you become proficient in using the electronic sources available to you. 30 years ago, if you wanted to find information, you went to the library and used a card catalog. Take a look at the picture below - you would spend a lot of time looking for topics in those drawers! Today, with so many digital resources, you can find the information you need anywhere that you have an internet connection.
