MISSION

The mission of the Louise Harkey School of Nursing is to cultivate competent, caring nurse professionals through exemplary education and the promotion of lifelong learning.

The Master of Science in Nursing prepares registered nurses for advanced roles in clinical practice, nursing leadership, and clinical research. Applicants must be registered nurses who have earned the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Themes of the MSN program include:

  • Discovery of Self
  • Transformation in Others
  • Innovation in Systems

The MSN degree has two tracks: Leadership and Clinical Research.
These two tracks share seven core courses that provide a solid foundation for graduate-level education.
